Now that things are going back to normal in London and we are all getting out and going for the much needed dinner date and lunch outings. The insta-worthy and amazing restaurants that focus on craft along with ingredients are back in action and it’s time to hit them all to have an amazing time. Here is one such restaurant in London that you should visit at least once that offers some exquisite tasting menus along with some Michelin-starred dining experience. You can book a reading taxi service to reach the place.

Clove Club

A glossy blue door welcomes you in the Shoreditch’s stately old town hall. All the frills and fuss is out at this joint that is michelin-starred. The tasting menu is stunning and has roots in seasonal British produce along with innovative ideas like Orkney scallops that are served with truffles and clementine. Our personal favourite is the duck consomme that is dramatically poured into the hundred year old glass of Madeira. The house cocktails are a must try at this joint. Although the place is most of the time super busy but you can get a seat at the cozy candle lit bar.

It is open from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Mondays and from Tuesday to Saturday it is open from Noon to 2:30 and then 6 to 10 p.m. Now it is in the world’s 50 best restaurants and stands at the 27th rank and need reservations beforehand. The beautiful blue tile kitchen can be seen from the pared back dining room where the chef works its magic. The staff is very attentive and friendly and doesn’t act any awkwardly formal even though the place is Michelin starred. You can be rest assured as your dish will be explained properly to you and you can top off your water and wine without thinking much.

Things that you shouldn’t miss when visiting this place is the buttermilk fried chicken that have aromatic pine salt and is presented in a nest made of branches. The McHale’s pre dinner snacks that has space age haggis bonbon is a must have. When it comes to desserts do try the bold burnt clementine sorbet that has shards of spiced meringue.
