The National Gallery in London has strong and dramatic columns and set the tone for London’s busy space that is Trafalgar Square. The wooden floors and marble trimming provide the serious and stately tone to the beautiful museum. There are more than 2300 paintings in the museum that span from 13 to 19 century. Most of the time it is pack full on weekends but the vastness and grandeur look of the exhibition make sure that you can find a quiet corner. It opens at 10:00 a.m. and stays open until 6 p.m. with late closing that are on Fridays up till 9:00 p.m. The best part is all the paintings that are displayed are properly organized by the era and there are proper sign posts and label that provide all the necessary information along with the paintings.

There is also Cafe and espresso bar that provide beautiful selection of cakes and teas. The National Dining Room is considered one of the proper destination restaurants that serve British Classics like sandwiches and Shepherd’s Pie and you can enjoy your food with a view of over the Trafalgar Square.
